I've been in and around Schutzhund/IPO/IGP for the better part of a decade and doing helper work for about 8 of those years. My first exposure to the sport was when I was stationed in Germany and my wife and I got our first GSD. I've been addicted ever since, and first put on the sleeve at Snohomish Schutzhund Club in Snohomish, WA. Since then, I've had the privilege of working numerous club trials, as well as the 2022-2024 USCA North Central Regional Championships, the 2025 USCA Mid Central and Mid Eastern Regional championships. Most recently, I did the IGP2 helper work at the 2026 USCA Working Dog Championship.
